اخفتى العمود المعدني الذي يزيد ارتفاعه على ثلاثة أمتار ونصف المتر، بعد ايام من اكتشافه في صحراء يوتا الأمريكية، ولم يبق في المكان سوى مثلث معدني.

وأعلنت إدارة الحياة البرية في ولاية يوتا، غربي الولايات المتحدة، أنها تلقت معلومات موثقة عن اختفاء الهيكل، وإزالته من جهة غير معروفة، وذلك بعد أيام من العثور عليه.

وذكرت تقارير في وقت سابق أن موظفين في إدارة موارد الحياة البرية الأمريكية، عثروا على الجسم الغريب في صحراء يوتا عندما كانوا يعدّون الأغنام في المنطقة من على متن طائرة هليكوبتر.

وأظهرت مقاطع فيديو انتشرت على وسائل الإعلام مسلة من المعدن اللامع، تم اكتشافها في صحراء يوتا.

ورفضت السلطات الكشف عن الموقع الدقيق للمنصة، لكن الناس تمكنوا من العثور عليها بعد يومين من معرفتها من قبل وسائل الإعلام.

وأشارت الصحافة الأمريكية إلى أن الجسم المكتشف في الصحراء يشبه مسلة غريبة من فيلم “ملحمة الفضاء” لعام 2001 لستانلي كوبريك، باستثناء أنه ليس أسود، ولكنه فضي.
