أعلنت وزارة الخارجية السعودية، مساء الجمعة، رفضها لما ورد في تقرير المخابرات الأمريكية بشأن مقتل الصحفي جمال خاشقجي، معتبرة أنها استنتاجات مسيئة وغير صحيحة.

وقالت الوزارة في بيان نقلته وكالة الأنباء السعودية الرسمية، إنها تابعت ما تم تداوله بشأن التقرير الذي تم تزويد الكونغرس به بشأن جريمة مقتل جمال خاشقجي.

وكانت واشنطن قد قامت مساء أمس، بنشر تقرير سري للاستخبارات الأمريكية حول اغتيال جمال خاشقجي في إسطنبول عام 2018، خلص إلى أنّ ولي العهد السعودي الأمير محمد بن سلمان “أجاز” العملية.

وأشار التقرير إلى أنّ ولي العهد كانت لديه سيطرة مطلقة على أجهزة الاستخبارات والأمن في المملكة منذ عام 2017، ما يجعل من المستبعد جداً أن يكون مسؤولون سعوديون قد نفذوا عملية كهذه من دون الضوء الأخضر الصادر عن الأمير.
