أقال رئيس الحكومة التونسية هشام المشيشي وزير البيئة مصطفى العروي، إثر الكشف عن وصول شحنات من النفايات المنزلية قادمة من إيطاليا بدون ترخيص.

وقالت الحكومة التونسية في بيان لها: “قرر رئيس الحكومة إعفاء وزير الشؤون المحلية والبيئة مصطفى العروي من مهامه، وتكليف وزير التجهيز والإسكان والبنية التحتية كمال الدوخ بالإشراف على وزارة الشؤون المحلية والبيئة بالنيابة”.

وقررت وزارة البيئة التونسية مطلع نوفمبر الماضي فتح تحقيق إداري بعد وصول 282 حاوية نفايات من إيطاليا، لا تتطابق مع نوعية النفايات الواردة في ترخيص الشركة الخاصة للتدوير التي قامت باستيرادها.

وقال مدير الوكالة الوطنية للتصرف في النفايات بشير يحيى في تصريح سابق: “الجمارك في مدينة سوسة الساحلية ضبطت خلال يونيو ويوليو 282 حاوية نفايات تم توريدها من قبل شركة خاصة تونسية”.

وأضاف: “قررت السلطات التونسية إرجاع الحاويات إلى إيطاليا في يوليو لكنها لا تزال في ميناء سوسة”.
