كشفت وسائل إعلام ألمانية في تقرير لها بعنوان “قنبلة بيروت الثانية” عن مواد خطرة مازالت موجودة على مرفأ بيروت.

وذكرت شبكة “ntv” الإخبارية الألمانية في تقريرها أن شركة ألمانية تساعد في منع كارثة ثانية في مرفأ بيروت، ربما بالقدر التدميري نفسه لكارثة 4 آب.

وقال التقرير إنه “خلال أعمال الأمن والتنظيف بعد الدمار الشديد من كارثة المرفأ، وجد العمال في الميناء 52 حاوية تحتوي على مواد متعفنة جزئياً وتمثل أكثر من 1000 طن من المواد الكيميائية”.

وبهذا الصدد قال المدير الإداري لشركة Combi Lift، هيكو فيلدرهوف، المكلفة بالتخلص من المواد الكيميائية التي تمّ العثورعليها في المرفأ بعد الانفجار: “يجب أن نقول الأمر كما هو: ما وجدناه هنا كان قنبلة بيروت ثانية. لم أر شيئاً مثله من قبل”.

ووقع انفجار قوي جدا في مرفأ مدينة بيروت بتاريخ 4 أغسطس/ آب 2020، تسبب بحدوث وفيات وجرحى وأضرار مادية جسيمة في الأبنية المنازل والسيارات.

وقالت السلطات اللبنانية إن سبب التفجير هو وجود 2750 طنا من نترات الأمونيوم التي صادرتها الجمارك في 2014 وخزنتها في مستودع.
