أصدرت وزارة الدفاع الوطني بيانا بخصوص سقوط مروحية عسكرية للإستطلاع التي سقطت في سواحل ولاية تيبازة اليوم.
وقال البيان انه :

أثناء القيام بمهمة طيران تدريبية تقنية صباح اليوم الأربعاء 16 ديسمبر 2020، وفي حدود الساعة 11:25، سقطت مروحية بحث وإنقاذ عسكرية من نوع (MS-25 Merlin) تابعة لقيادة القوات البحرية، في عرض البحر على بعد (02) ميل بحري شمال غرب ساحل مدينة بوهارون، بولاية تيبازة/ن.ع.1، مما أسفر عن استشهاد الملازم الأول بوزايدة نور الدين أحد أفراد طاقم الطائرة المتكون من ثلاثة ضباط، فيما لا تزال عملية البحث جارية عن الطيارين (02) الآخرين، حيث تم تسخير وسائل البحث والإنقاذ اللازمة.
وعلى إثر هذا الحادث الأليم، يتقدم السيد الفريق شنڨريحة السعيد، رئيس أركان الجيش الوطني الشعبي باسمه ونيابة عن جميع مستخدمي الجيش الوطني الشعبي، بخالص التعازي والمواساة لأسرة الشهيد معبرا لهم عن وقوفه إلى جانبهم في هذه الفاجعة.
كما أمر بفتح تحقيق فوري لمعرفة ملابسات وأسباب الحادث.
