إلتقى وزير الشؤون الخارجية صبري بوقادوم، مع رئيس مفوضية “الإيكواس” جان كلود كاسي برو، على هامش زيارته إلى أبوجا منذ أمس الأربعاء.
وحسب بيان لوزارة الخارجية، فقد تبادل خلالها الجانبان بشكل مثمر للغاية وجهات النظر حول القضايا الرئيسية في المنطقة.

وأجرى بوقادوم وكاسي برو نقاشا بناءً ومنفتحا حول سبل ووسائل تعزيز التعاون بين الجزائر والمنظمة الغرب إفريقية في المجالات السياسية والأمنية لا سيما في منطقة الساحل.

وشارك في هذه المناقشات، العديد من الإطارات المسيرة في الإيكواس.

وسجل الجانبان بإرتياح كبير تقارب وجهات نظرهما حول القضايا الرئيسية التي تخص المنطقة.

كما اتفق الطرفان، على ضرورة تضافر جهودهما عبر إنشاء آلية للتشاور بين الجزائر والإيكواس تهدف بشكل خاص إلى تطوير العلاقات السياسية والأمنية والإقتصادية والتجارية بينهما.

وتعد هذه الزيارة الرسمية الأولى من نوعها لوزير جزائري، إلى المجموعة الإقتصادية لدول غرب إفريقيا.
