أعلن الاتحاد الأوروبي، الخميس، تعيينه الإيطالية نتالينا تشيا رئيسة لبعثته لدى ليبيا “يوبام” لتخلف الإيطالي فينتشينزو تاليافيري الذي شغل المنصب منذ 1 سبتمبر 2016.

وأوضح، بيان لقسم العمل الخارجي في الاتحاد الأوروبي، أن تشيا ستباشر وظيفتها الجديدة ابتداء من يوم 1 فبراير المقبل على رأس هذه المهمة التي تم إنشاؤها من طرف الاتحاد الأوروبي لأول مرة سنة 2013.

من مهام نتاليا تشيا على رأس وظيفتها الجديدة التعاون مع “السلطات الليبية” لتفكيك “شبكات الإجرام المنظم المرتبطة بالتهريب والمهاجرين والمتاجرة بالبشر والإرهاب” حسب بيان المجلس الأوروبي.

نتاليا تشيا شغلت خلال العقدين الأخيرين العديد من الوظائف السامية في بلدها إيطاليا وفي المؤسسات الدولية، من بينها توليها منصب “مديرة هيئة التعاون الدولي والإسناد التقني في هيئة الجمارك الإيطالية”، بالإضافة إلى تنفيذها مهمات ومشاريع دولية مرتبطة “بالأمن المدني” وما تعلق منها “بإدارة تأمين الحدود” على حد قول بيان المجلس.
