أكد وزير السياحة والصناعة التقليدية والعمل العائلي، محمد علي بوغازي، أن الدولة تراهن على جعل قطاع السياحة رافعة اقتصادية واجتماعية تسهم في خلق الثروة وتولد مناصب الشغل في ظل وجود قدرات سياحية متنوعة.

وقال بوغازي في كلمة له في افتتاح لقاء مع إطارات القطاع بفندق مزافران اليوم إن المساحات السياحية بأنواعها سواء الصحراوية أو الساحلية أو الحموية أو الدينية قادرة على تلبية السياحة الداخلية وطلبات الجالية الجزائرية في الخارجية وكذلك طلبات أكثر الدول الموردة للسياحة.

وكشف وزير السياحة أن الجزائر تحوز على حظيرة فندقية تجاوزت 1500 فندق لكن الخدمات تبقى تحتاج إلى تحسين وترقية مستمرين حسب قوله.

وفي هذا السياق ذكر بوغازي أن مجمع فندقة وسياحة وحمامات معدنية شرع منذ 5 سنوات في إعادة تأهيل الفنادق التي تخضع لوصايته ودخلت بعضها الخدمة مؤخرا.
