افتتحت أسعار النفط بداية التعاملات الأسبوعية بتراجع وسط عودة المخاوف من بطء التعافي الاقتصادي العالمي، وانعكاسات سلبية لنمو الطلب على الخام.

وعلى الرغم من وجود مؤشرات على تسارع عمليات توزيع اللقاحات عالميا، إلا أن عمليات التطعيم ما تزال بطيئة، وسط توزيع غير متكافئ للقاحات بين الدول.

وتراجعت العقود الآجلة لخام القياس العالمي مزيج برنت تسليم ماي بنسبة 0.91 بالمائة أو 60 سنتا إلى 63.93 دولارا للبرمي عند الساعة 08.05 بتوقيت الجزائر.

كما تراجعت العقود الآجلة للخام الأمريكي غرب تكساس الوسيط تسليم ماي، بنسبة 0.90 بالمائة أو 55 سنتا إلى 60.91 دولارا للبرميل.

ويأتي هبوط الأسعار كذلك، بعد إعلان السعودية عودة مصفاة تكرير نفط للعمل بعد ساعات قليلة من تعرضها لهجوم بطائرات مسيرة أطلقها الحوثيون، الجمعة، وانحسار المخاطر من تأثر إمدادات الوقود محليا أو دوليا.
