ألجيريان إكسبرس: أعلنت طوكيو اليوم السبت، أنها ستسرع وتيرة مراجعة عقار “ريمديسيفير” المضاد للفيروسات والذي تنتجه شركة “جيليد ساينسيز” الأمريكية على أمل أن يتم إقراره ليستخدم لعلاج مرضى “كوفيد-19” في البلاد.
وقال وزير الصحة كاتسونوبو كاتو للصحفيين: “سمعت أن جيليد ساينسيز ستتقدم بطلب للموافقة في اليابان خلال أيام.. أصدرت أمرا يجعلنا مستعدين لإقراره خلال أسبوع أو في تلك الحدود”.

ويأتي تصريح كاتو، بعد أن أجازت إدارة الغذاء والدواء الأمريكية (إف.دي.إيه) يوم الجمعة، الاستخدام الطارئ لهذا الدواء لعلاج كوفيد-19.

وصرح رئيس الوزراء الياباني شينزو آبي، الجمعة، بأنه يميل لتمديد حالة الطوارئ في البلاد والتي من المقرر حاليا أن تنتهي في السادس من مايو، مع قول خبراء إن قيود كورونا يجب أن تستمر لحين انخفاض عدد الحالات بشكل أكبر.

وأفادت وكالة “رويترز” بأنه لم يتسن الوصول لمصدر في وحدة جيليد في اليابان للتعليق.
