لقي 9 أشخاص حتفهم، إختناقا بغاز أحادي أكسيد الكربون بعدد من الولايات، خلال الـ48 ساعة الأخيرة.
وحسب بيان لمديرية الحماية المدنية بالولاية، فقد تم خلال نفس الفترة، تقديم الإسعافات الأولية لـ82 شخصا آخرا إثر استنشاقهم لهذا الغاز.

وأشار البيان، الى أن حصيلة الوفيات بغاز أحادي الكربون منذ الفاتح من جانفي الحالي، وصلت إلى 25 ضحية.

فيما تم اسعاف وإنقاذ أكثر من 398 آخرين من موت محقق.

ومن جهة أخرى، خلفت حوادث الطرقات وفاة 5 أشخاص وإصابة 233 آخرين بجروح خلال نفس الفترة.
