تدخلت الوحدة الرئيسية للحماية المدنية، على الساعة 23 سا 13 د من أجل حادث اختناق بالغاز في آيت عزيز.
وخلف الحادث 7 أشخاص مختنقين تتراوح أعمارهم بين 5 أشهر و 40 سنة نقلو إلى مستشفى البويرة.

وتم نقل 2 منهم من طرف الحماية المدنية بمنعرجات الريش الطريق الوطني رقم 5 كانو على متن سيارة خاصة.

فيما تم نقل 5 ضحايا آخرين من طرف خواص، الى مستشفى البويرة.

للإشارة، تتسبب حوادث الاختناق في الجزائر سنويا في تسمم المئات من الأشخاص في منازلها، نتيجة استنشاق الغازات.

ومن أعراض الاختناق بالغاز آلام في الرأس وصداع، إضطراب في الرؤية والسمع، توعك، تقيء، دوار وفقدان التوازن، نعاس ثم فقدان الوعي.
